Different experiences made me a better designer.

I didn’t start in design. I studied Digital Media Software in Korea, mostly programming, then spent two years as an IT system administrator at a pharmaceutical company, reshaping its websites and ERP around what 500+ employees actually needed. I learned how products work under the hood.

Then I spent years serving people. After a year in Vancouver learning the language, I taught English to kids in Korea, then came back for good: taking reservations at a hotel, then running the floor of a busy ramen restaurant as server manager, where I hired and trained 50+ staff. I learned what people do when something is confusing.

Design was where it all met. As a data reporting assistant, I learned to find the pattern before the decision, then at BCIT I studied Digital Design and Development, from research to React. Now I bring all of it to every project.
